If the seal heat hardens and loses its original elasticity, the heat exchanger will not work properly.

The joint surface of the plate heat exchanger should be cleaned with a chemical cleaner. Also, it is necessary to use a chemical cleaner to remove the softener and anti-blocking coating adhered to the gasket. Apply the adhesive to the middle of each bonding joint surface. Depending on the width of the gasket, the width of the adhesive is about the width of a match, and then the adhesive is applied to the entire bonding surface by a brush to average Make full use of the entire joint surface. The softening of the elastomeric gasket is related to pressure and temperature. When the gasket loses its elasticity, the heat exchanger will leak. In some products, in order to solve the dripping phenomenon caused by the aging of the gasket, the heat exchanger should be adjusted for the sealing function, that is, the bolts of the combined plate heat exchanger are tightened again. Adjust the pressing force of the elastic gasket between each heat exchanger to solve the dripping problem. On the nameplate of a heat exchanger with this function, the maximum and minimum stresses are generally given. For new heat exchanger sets, the connection should be fixed with the minimum allowable stress. Depending on the number of heat exchanger sheets per set, the tightening force of the heat exchanger can be adjusted one or more times.
