The three major drawbacks of the overall cleaning of plate heat exchangers

For the above reasons, the plate heat exchanger has to be dismantled to clean the mud scale during the stoppage time of the casting machine. Due to the short interval, the mechanical cleaning method is used to disassemble the plate heat exchanger for cleaning, and the following defects are found in the cleaning process.

1. Because the water and magnesium ions of the Yellow River industry are relatively high, the scale of the industrial water surface of the plate heat exchanger at high temperature is relatively hard. If the iron brush is used for a piece of brush, the work intensity of the worker is increased, and the plate often Scratches appear, it is easier to scale after brushing; the cleaning effect is not great.

2. The heat exchanger must be disassembled during cleaning. It is easy to damage the gasket during the disassembly process. It often occurs because the assembly is too tight and the metal plate or gasket is damaged, or the assembly is not tight enough to cause leakage. The leakage of the medium between the metal plates is caused. The water in the continuous casting equipment is cooled by the demineralized water. The plate heat exchanger often has an internal leakage phenomenon, and the demineralized water is poured into the industrial water to increase the cost of the demineralized water and the large loss of the spare parts of the plate heat exchanger. Also increased equipment costs.

3. Frequent removal of the plate heat exchanger will deform the hanging notches at both ends of the metal plate. The deformation at the notch will cause misalignment between the metal plates, so that the metal plate is easily deformed. When the water flows through the plate heat exchanger, Will affect the water flow speed, and increase the scale and corrosion of the plate heat exchanger, as shown in Figure 1. The plate heat exchanger is a heat exchanger which is formed by pressing a thin metal plate (generally stainless steel) into a heat exchange plate having a certain shape and then laminating with a sealing pad.

Mainly composed of heat transfer sheet, sealing rubber pad, clamping bolt, pressing plate, machine frame and other components. The hot and cold medium flows through the respective channels through the adjacent heat exchange plates, and heat exchange is performed through a thin heat exchange plate in the middle, so that the energy is high, the heat transfer coefficient is high, and the scale is extremely easy to be scaled; and the inside of the plate heat exchanger The flow aperture is small, and the internal passage section becomes smaller or even blocked after fouling, which causes the heat exchange efficiency of the plate heat exchanger to decrease, thereby affecting the normal production and safety of the equipment. Therefore, the plate heat exchanger should be periodically chemically cleaned. The dirt is removed to ensure the efficient heat exchange and production of the plate heat exchanger.
